Our story
Built by a contractor who knows the Gulf Coast.
GD Construction LLC was established in February 2020 by owner/operator Elmer Gutierrez Velazco, a licensed and insured contractor with over 15+ of construction experience on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Elmer began his career assisting with the rebuild of the Gulf Coast area after Hurricane Katrina.
He has a passion for bringing life back into people's homes and is dedicated to ensuring all projects are completed on time and on budget. Today we operate as two licensed entities — GD Construction LLC and GD Remodel Services LLC — so we can handle everything from storm-damage roofing to full interior remodels and large-scale additions under one coordinated crew.

Elmer Gutierrez Velazco leads GD Construction with over 15+ of hands-on construction experience on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Starting with the post-Katrina rebuild and establishing GD Construction LLC in February 2020, Elmer has built a reputation for honest estimates, dependable scheduling, and quality that lasts.
Our crew is local, experienced, and cross-trained across roofing, remodeling, and exterior trades. That means fewer hand-offs, faster problem solving, and a single point of accountability on every project — from a shingle repair to a full addition.
